Promoting social inclusion

Shaping the Day Positively.

Children with disabilities are particularly vulnerable and require specialized and professional care. Likewise, children who grow up without parents or have lost their father or mother face social disadvantages. They need a stable and loving environment that encourages them and helps them develop self-confidence.

Creating Opportunities,

Opportunities are created by supporting disadvantaged individuals in their efforts to develop their strengths and abilities, enabling them to participate more fully in society.

We support the work of the Senehasa Foundation, a daycare center and therapy center for children and young people with disabilities near Galle, by funding a physiotherapist and a music and dance therapist.

Where is "here," where is "there"?

We support the Blind Association in Kilinochchi, which brings together people who lost their eyesight during the civil war, by improving medical care for eye health and providing visual aids and accessories. Additionally, we fund equipment for producing local products such as coconut oil, melons and more.

Giving Young People a Future.

Individual support is provided through targeted sponsorships for schoolchildren growing up in precarious conditions, as well as for young people until they complete their education.

We have supported the Mahadeva Swamikal Children’s Home in Kilinochchi, where 400 boys and girls aged 6 to 17 found a home after losing their parents in the civil war or being declared missing.

We have also supported Grace Girls Children Care in Trincomalee, which provides a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk girls to develop essential life skills.
